“In a Sea of Wonders.” Reading Fantastic Literature.

This collection of papers represents a cross-section of topics and literary texts discussed in the elective undergraduate course The Fantastic in American and English Literature, and the aims of this publication are multiple. Firstly, the selected research papers testify not only to the students’ interest in various subgenres of fantastic literature, but also to their language proficiency, adequate scholarly approach to the subject, and well-developed critical skills. In this way, the collection of papers represents an embodiment of the learning outcomes that are expected from this course. Secondly, the publication represents the first step for both the authors and the co-editors into the world of academic writing and publishing.
